Abstract
Free-space optical (FSO) communication is a line of sight transmission refers to the propagating of data signal from transmitter to the receiver through the atmosphere. For many years FSO communication has become more interested as an alternative to radio frequency (RF) communication. The FSO communication has high bandwidth, efficiency and high capacity. Since fading become a major factor particularly in longer distances in FSO communication, and the study revealed the successes of laboratory in atmosphere of FSO communication. This paper proposed the use of reliable technique to detect and correct errors, and bit error rate (BER) performance through the laboratory simulation results and theoretical analysis using higher quality research papers.
