The success of any organisations will depend largely on how well its members of staff were trained. Therefore, the effective management of people in an organisation becomes imperative from recruitment to placement calls for effective and efficient planning. It is in this light that the research was conducted. The study aims at examining the impacts of Training and Manpower Development with particular reference to some selected polytechnics in Kebbi, Sokoto and Zamfara state. However,the academia, theprivate sectors opinions and different scholars as regard to Training and Manpower Development in organisations was extensively discussed in chapter two, so as to be able to ascertain the benefits of training to the organisations and the society at large. Moreover, 200 questionnaires were administered to both academics and Non- Teaching staff of the institutions out of which 150 responses were returned. Inferential statistics and descriptive approach have been employed by the researcher to analyse and interpret data collected from respondents.
